November

Alison Melville will be leading a full-day workshop on Saturday, November 26, 2011, from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm,  and giving a concert on the following Sunday afternoon, November 27, 2011 starting at 2:00 pm. Both events will take place at the Parish Church of Saints Faith & Stephen the Martyr Anglican located at 11725 – 93 Street, Edmonton, Alberta.

October

Friday, October 21 from 7:00–9:30, the Edmonton Recorder Society will be having its Annual General Meeting, followed by the first play-in of the 2011–2012 season.

Edmonton Recorder Society Gala Concert
On April 9, 2011 at 2:00 pm the Edmonton Recorder Society's second annual gala concert will be held at Trinity United Church, 8810 Meadowlark Road, Edmonton. Various ensembles from among the Edmonton Recorder Society membership will be playing. Admission is free.

January

Deep Freeze 2011
On Saturday, January 8, 2011, as part of Deep Freeze 2011, Suite Tweet consisting of Linda Jacklin, Donna Mae Mohrmann, Lori Klingbeil on recorders along with Alena Vyskocil on classical guitar will be playing from 2:00 till 3:00 pm at the Carrot Community Arts Coffeehouse, 9351 - 118 Avenue, Edmonton, and again from 5:00 till 6:00 pm at the Alberta Avenue Community Centre, 9210 - 118 Avenue, Edmonton. Note the different venues. Everyone is welcome, hope to see you there!
