The Edmonton Recorder Society is a non-profit society registered in the Province of Alberta. Its primary objectives are to cultivate an appreciation of the recorder, to inform people of the recorder, to help people improve their recorder playing, and to sponsor concerts, workshops and other musical events. A full listing of the Edmonton Recorder Society's objectives can be found in the downloadable copy of the by-laws.

The official business of the Edmonton Recorder Society is handled by the Board of Directors, which is elected for a one-year term starting at the Annual General Meeting each year in the fall. A person may sit on the board for up to three consecutive years before being required to take a break.

The 2020-2201 Board of Directors is as follows:

President:  David Brown            Secretary:  Anne McMillan     Treasurer:  Judy Johnson
Director:    Monika Trott      Director:    Donna Mae Mohrmann

If you have any concerns or questions about the Edmonton Recorder Society, feel free to contact any one of the above individuals.

A volunteer-run arts organization doesn't run itself; there are many volunteers who do invaluable work behind the scenes. Key non-executive positions are as follows:

Webminder:  Anne McMillan
Nordegg Organizing Committee 2021:  maybe you!
Music Librarian:   Volunteer Position Description

If you are interested in any of the above positions or if you have any concerns or questions about the Edmonton Recorder Society, feel free to contact any one of the above individuals.
