Music Lending Library
Borrowing from the Edmonton Recorder Society's music lending library is a benefit to ERS members.
We are in the process of setting up a searchable catalogue. However, given that the bulk of the ERS's library consists of the complete collection of London Pro Musica's "Early Music Library", you can search for items from this collection in the EML catalogue itself or LPM's index. (NB: This index contains all of London Pro Musica's editions; the ERS only has the EML editions in its library.)
Once you've found something you'd like to borrow, contact the ERS librarian through this website's contact page.
Please refer to the ERS Music Lending Library Guidelines for more information about borrower's privileges and responsibilities.
Donations of original music to the library are gratefully received! Photocopies will not be accepted.
- The loan period is 2 months, for up to 10 items.
- Renewal may be arranged for a further month as long as no one else has requested the music.
- There are no direct fees; costs are covered through membership dues.
- Pick-up and return may be arranged between the borrower and the librarian. If any shipping costs are incurred, then ERS pays to send the materials out and the borrower pays to return them.
