Welcome
he Edmonton Recorder Society is a volunteer-run organization of amateur musicians who love to play the recorder.   We play the school sized soprano and then we enrich it with harmony from the alto, tenor and bass recorders.   Occasionally, we add a great bass, or some descants from the sopranino or the tiny garklein recorder.   Our music repertoire ranges from medieval to modern periods.  We organize:
learn to play the recorder    concerts    lessons
      an annual retreat
     a recorder ensemble
            a music lending library
 workshops

Membership is open to anyone.
As of March 2010, the ERS is proud to be a Chapter of the American Recorder Society.
